Eagle Ocean Marine is a Non-IG insurer who are appointed underwriting agents of the American Steamship Owners Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association. It provides P&I and FD&D cover for smaller vessels offering policy limits up to USD 500 million and USD 2 million respectively.

Eagle Ocean utilises the American Club’s network of correspondents and expertise in general marine adjusting, claims handling and surveys.

Annual written premium has increased by 22% in 2016, from USD 6.8 million to USD 8.3 million, with Dry Cargo, Offshore Supply vessels, Tugs and Barges accounting for 83% of Eagle Ocean’s portfolio.

Eagle Ocean continues to have a significant interest in South East and Far East Asia with over 82% of its insureds originating from the region.
