Carina is a coverholder underwriting P&I and Legal Defence covers on behalf of various Lloyd’s syndicates. It was established in 2013 by the managers of Britannia Steam Ship Insurance Association Limited, Tindall Riley Limited.

Carina provides P&I cover for vessels up to 5,000 gross tons with policy limits of liability up to USD 500 million.

In 2016 Carina’s premium income and tonnage reduced by 1.6% and 22% respectively.

In addition to P&I covers Carina also offers a combined product for yacht owners, covering Hull and Machinery, Personal Accident and Fine Art risks.
