Navigators P&I offers cover to small and medium vessels for limits of liability up to USD 1 billion. It has offered cover from its London office since 2004. There are no specific restrictions on fleet size, age or classification of vessels.
Last year, it announced a 6.2% increase in insured tonnage with a corresponding reduction of 6.7% in annual premium income.
Throughout the year it has expanded its team with the addition of Underwriters with experience in both the International Group and Non-International Group markets.
In 2016 it began offering a bank guarantee to cover Release Calls incurred by those insureds moving from an IG Club to the insurer.
The P&I facility is part of the Navigators Insurance Co., which provides primary layer security up to USD 50 million. Security for higher policy limits of liability is provided by Lloyd's syndicates.
